One problem for most students at Texas A&M University is the difficulty of becoming an active participant in the university community. Many incoming freshman or transfer students become lost in the rapid shuffle of student organizations on campus at the beginning of the semester. Once lost, these, students tend to be discouraged in being more involved with school activities. With this common problem, Beta Tau Omega was founded as a service and social fraternity to give these individuals a chance to become more involved with school activities. This kind of experience with college life has a profound effect on the shaping of the attitude of these students. We would like to give these students more options with a more personal level. As a social and service fraternity, our goals include: Leadership Skills, Community Service, Social Activities, and Brotherhood. In order for Beta Tau Omega to be known as a strong influence on the Asian community, we stand by these goals to the fullest extent.
